Thanks to the Reunion Committee for a lovely evening. Everything was perfect. My only complaint??? I didn’t get to visit with everyone!! I suppose that will give me something to look forward to.

Dear Classmates,

You are cordially invited to attend your 55th Class Reunion to be held at the Bayonet Golf Course (old Fort Ord Officer’s Club and Golf Course). Bayonet has a breathtaking view of Monterey Bay.

DATE: Thursday, September 21, 2023
TIME: 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm
5:00-6:00 appetizers and no host bar,
6:00- 7:00 dinner
7:00 – 10:00 catching up, dancing, photos and fun
AT: Bayonet Golf Course, 1 McClure Way, Seaside, CA 93955

PRICE: $68.00 per person

DINNER: Appetizers will be served during the cocktail hour. We are having a “Backyard BBQ” buffet. There will be BBQ Ribs. BBQ Chicken and Grilled Tri-Tip. There will be vegetarian items on the Buffet. Coffee, Iced Tea and Lemonade will be complimentary. It is a no host bar. Bayonet has a full bar and an excellent wine selection. Dessert will also be included.

DRESS: Casual dress- Western attire optional.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES:
Wednesday Sept 20th we will have a no-host get together in Downtown Salinas- location TBD.

Friday Sept 22nd- We are looking into going to a football game at SHS

GOLF: Please let us know if you are interested in playing golf at Bayonet on Friday, September 22, 2023. We have arranged for a special rate of $110.

SCHOLARSHIPS: Thank you all for your generous donations to the 50th Reunion Scholarship Fund. We were able to give out five $575.00 scholarships to graduating SHS seniors at an award ceremony on May 10, 2018. The students were very appreciative for the help towards the costs of their college expenses.

If you would like to make a donation for our Scholarship Fund for the Class of 2024- include a separate check and indicate it is for “Scholarships”.

HOTELS: Bayonet Golf Course is about 3 miles from Embassy Suites where we had our 50th. There’s also Monterey Tides (right on the beach) and many other affordable hotels nearby.
