It brings a smile to our face every time we see those names show up for us year after year. We’re proud to provide high quality, consistent, and tested compost that sets the standard for almost 20 years. Our small family business wouldn’t be what it is today without our customers who trust us to show up for them every year.

Thank you for being part of the Comgro Family, and thank you for growing with us 💚

What sustainability means to us is taking care of the soil, so the soil can take care of you.

We here at Comgro started out as immigrant and first generation farmers who wanted to care for the soil so generations of people could farm the land after us. We saw firsthand how applying manure to the soil strengthened the crops and produced larger and healthier harvests. Over the years we’ve developed and, in our opinion perfected, our compost making process and still see those amazing results when you apply attention, care, and organic matter to the soil.

And so we turn now to you. What sustainability means to me is…

On Saturday our team had the pleasure of attending the annual gala Monterey Zoo where we were recognized for our continued contributions to the zoo. We haul away the manure from the herbivores at the zoo at no cost, and add it into the mix for our A-Compost! If you’ve ever wondered what makes the A-Compost so good, now you know! We love our little zoo, and we’re proud to be part of their village. We hope you stop in and see some cool animals, and take the time to learn about conservation and endangered species.

Your fields could sound like this too

Yesterday we had the pleasure of showing some of Soledad FFA’s students how we spread and apply compost on the JV softball and baseball fields at Soledad High School! These fields were spread with a mixture of compost and grass seed to help strengthen the soil, up water retention, and fill in sparse patches in the field for a better safer playing field.
