EDS provides early learning and care environments for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years in Monterey, San Benito, Santa Cruz, and Santa Barbara County which include Family Child Care Home Educators, children’s centers, and employer sponsored programs. We have job openings and are accepting resumes and applications for Teacher Assistants/Relievers, Associate Teachers, and Lead Teachers in the Seaside and Salinas areas. Early Development Services offers competitive compensation and a benefits plan which includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Voluntary Life, 401k Retirement Plan with company match, Paid Time Office, Holidays, Childcare Benefits for ages 6 weeks to entry first grade (based on need and availability), Education Assistance, supports professional development plus more.

🌟 Connecting & Celebrating at Santa Maria High School!
Our team had a wonderful time tabling at the 5th Annual Celebration of Culture event hosted at Santa Maria High School! Bringing together local families, schools, and organizations, it was a beautiful day filled with cultural food, lively entertainment, student performances, and hands-on activities.
We loved connecting with so many amazing families, sharing information about our programs, and welcoming 23 new families to our EDS services! Building strong community connections and expanding access to vital early learning resources is what it’s all about. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table to say hello! 🎉✨

Our families had a wonderful time visiting classrooms, seeing their children’s amazing work, and connecting with our teachers!
Families also got to explore our Mobile Library, where children picked out a special free book to take home and enjoy, all while sharing delicious fruit and appetizers together. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a memorable evening of learning, reading, and community! 🍎📖✨

We had a wonderful time tabling at Crescita to share all about the Dolly Parton Imagination Library!
We loved connecting with parents and helping them sign up their little ones to receive free, high-quality books delivered right to their mailboxes every month. Betteravia had a wonderful visit from Dr. Tam and their amazing team for our annual dental exams!
The staff made learning about oral health so engaging and fun—the children loved dressing up as teeth and practice-brushing on adorable stuffed animals. They also learned how flossing helps get rid of those sneaky "Sugar Bugs"! Every child walked away with big smiles, new toothbrushes, and fun stickers to take home. Thank you to Dr. Tam and team for making dental care such an exciting experience! 😊🦷✨

🍪 Baking Memories with Chef Elias!
Our Adventurers love when Elias and Yunis bring food to the classroom, so they decided to invite Elias for a special hands-on cooking activity—making cookies together!
From wondering what was on the menu to greeting our kitchen team with big smiles, the children were thrilled to have Elias lead the fun. Every child got to mix flour and butter, following along with his instructions, feeling the sticky dough, and learning real culinary skills. It was a wonderful, delicious way to build relationships and learn through hands-on play!

🌳 Avondale’s Adventurers Take On Their First Field Trip!
Avondale’s Adventurers set off on their very first field trip to explore one of our wonderful local parks! The children spent a fun-filled morning at Casanova Oak Knoll Park, climbing grassy hills, running through open green spaces, exploring the playground, and sharing a delicious snack together.
This outing was a great way to enjoy our community and get everyone ready for the exciting field trips ahead. It was such a special day and a wonderful way to make lasting memories together! 🏞️✨

✨ Crescita Hosts Back-to-School Event!
Crescita welcomed new and returning families for a fun and meaningful Back-to-School Event! It was a fantastic opportunity for parents to connect, socialize, tour new classrooms, and meet their children's classmates.
Teachers organized engaging activities, including a bracelet-making station where families created personalized keepsakes together. Parents also contributed to a sweet "Hopes, Goals, and Wishes" jar, sharing their aspirations for their children for the upcoming school year. We are so excited to watch all of our children reach their goals and milestones this year! 😊

🎨 Creating Goals Together!
Families joined us for a special Goal-Setting Family Event, working alongside their children to set meaningful goals for the school year.
Our Explorers and Investigators got creative painting canvases, while our Creators crafted artwork inspired by the first initial of their names. Together, parents and children painted masterpieces and wrote down the special goals they hope to achieve this year. Each classroom now proudly displays these creations as a reminder of our shared aspirations. We can’t wait to watch our children grow, learn, and accomplish their dreams! 💛✨
