Today, we’re celebrating our founder and owner, Melissa, who was honored with a Women of Achievement Award for her contributions to Arts & Culture in Salina. ❤️

For nearly two decades, Melissa has poured her heart into creating something bigger than a music studio. What started as a vision for music education has grown into a village—a place where children can discover their voices, families can find community, and people of all ages can feel like they belong.

This summer has been an especially meaningful chapter for Joyful Noise. After the hailstorm forced us to find new homes for both the studio and Playhouse, Melissa led the way through a huge transition as we moved from the mall to downtown Salina. It has been a busy and challenging season, but the support from our families and our community has reminded us why Joyful Noise exists in the first place.

To all of the families who have trusted us with your children, filled our classrooms, cheered from the audience, shared our posts, recommended us to friends, and continued to show up through all of the changes—thank you. You are the reason Joyful Noise has grown into the village it is today.

This award is a wonderful recognition of Melissa, but it also feels like a celebration of everything we have built together. Joyful Noise wouldn’t be what it is without the families, students, teachers, and community who have believed in this vision and helped it grow.

Congratulations, Melissa. We are so proud of you—and so grateful for the heart, creativity, and determination you continue to pour into Joyful Noise. 🎶❤️

This has been a summer of uncleaned adventures that started up with the hail storm. I spent the past three months playing a constant game of catch up. I usually have our fall classes posted by mid July, but with the moving and reopening a voice businesses it has sent me far behind. I promise our fall class options are coming very soon! It’s going to be a fantastic year and I can’t wait to share all the great options that we’re gonna have for you

This is our first year of continuing classes and lessons throughout August, and we are learning along the way what our instructors need to make this new schedule successful. Many of our instructors are educators, and we’ve realized they need some additional time to prepare for the upcoming school year.

In order to give our teachers the time they need to prepare and begin the school year feeling refreshed and ready, we have decided to cancel all classes and lessons this week.

A credit will be applied to your account for this week’s missed classes and lessons. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we continue to grow and improve our year-round programming.

✨ Meet Miss Peggy! ✨

One of the amazing teachers leading our Level 3 Kindermusik classes for preschoolers is the wonderful Miss Peggy!

Miss Peggy has a true gift for connecting with children. She has a special way of helping every child feel welcomed, included, and like an important part of the class. Whether your preschooler jumps right in or takes a little time to warm up, Miss Peggy meets them right where they are and helps them shine.

Her classes are filled with laughter, music, movement, and meaningful learning. Your preschooler won’t just have fun—they’ll develop a lifelong love of music while building confidence, friendships, creativity, and important early learning skills.

We’d love for your preschooler to experience the joy of Kindermusik with Miss Peggy or one of our other incredible Level 3 teachers!
