In loving memory of Mrs. Cindy Ramsey, who faithfully served Cornerstone Classical School as our Latin teacher from 2015 to 2025. Mrs. Ramsey's dedication to her students and to the mission of classical Christian education left a lasting impact on our school community. We are grateful for the years she spent teaching, encouraging, and investing in the lives of our students.

Today, we share the tribute written in her honor for our 2025-2026 yearbook as we remember her with love and gratitude.

Psalm 100 (A Psalm of praise.)
Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

On June 3rd, Mrs. Ramsey went home to be with her Savior. We remember her with gratitude and joy. Cindy reminds us of Tom Bombadill, the enigmatic wizard from Lord of the Rings. Tom, a wizard, can do things normal people cannot. On a rainy day, Tom does not prevent the rain, but he somehow stays dry in it—except for his wet boots. That is how we knew Cindy—how she lived. It rained in life, she got her boots wet, but her hope in and love for God always brought her back to joy. Regardless of the challenges of life, she always came back to her joy in Jesus. She always came back to Pax Dei.

God, in Jesus, suffered with us and for us and in doing so, he brought joy to the world and joy to our suffering. He invites us into the source of joy and goodness. The stars shout. The animals laugh. We love. We laugh. We give thanks. All these things come from God, the source of all goodness. “God is good.” His goodness is not stingy but extends to generations and into eternity.

God is the source of all goodness. Cindy knew this and she lived this. She was always about Jesus. She enjoyed her students and Latin, knowing both are gifts from God. No matter what happened in life, she stewarded these gifts with gratitude and God gave her joy through them.

With gratitude and love, we dedicate this yearbook to Mrs. Cindy Ramsey.

Join us for a free Raising Sturdy Kids mini-session with Keith McCurdy, M.A., Ed.S. A national family and parenting educator and consultant, Keith is also a licensed professional counselor and licensed marriage and family therapist in Virginia.
Keith will help parents see how allowing children to face challenges can prepare them to become sturdy adults who meet life with courage and determination.
Make it an extended date night! We’ll gather at Lee Hardware Lofts in Salina on October 23 from 6–8 PM and October 24 from 9 AM–Noon (please note new ending time). We can’t wait to see you.
