Students, it appears that some of you did not get my email or text that I needed to cancel lessons this week, and I am so sorry! I had to make an emergency trip to Arizona to help my son after a crisis in his life. Everyone is doing ok, Jaimisen and his dog are safe, but I will not be back in Kansas until Saturday. Thank you for understanding and for giving me the flexibility to prioritize my family when they need me!

Attention Students: The Summer Schedule Starts NOW!!!

I am incredibly proud of the concert we put on with the Bethany College/Lindsborg Community Orchestra last night. The string sections in this group are made up of really passionate instructors up front, some incredible community members and pro players within the sections and in the back, and students (many of them local Salina and Lindsborg high schoolers!) sandwiched in-between. The kids playing in this group have worked so hard, and last night they absolutely brought it!

Please take a few minutes to watch this program. The orchestra portion of the concert is only about 25 minutes long, beginning with Dr. Keith Dodson taking the podium at the 3 minute mark and ending with a gorgeous rendition of Sibelius Andante Festivo.

High School Students, bring your friends (even if they're band geeks) and come hang out in Lindsborg with me and Dr. Keith Dodson and a whole bunch of other cool instructors for a weekend in June! The $50 price is all inclusive, you will stay in the dorms at Bethany for the weekend, and we will make so much music and have SO MUCH FUN!!!

LESSON OPENINGS!!!
I have three openings right after school, at 3pm on Mondays, 3:30pm on Mondays, and 3pm on Tuesdays. Existing students, if one of these times would be better for you than your existing time please let me know, and if you know any Salina middle school or high school students (the only people who can get to my house by 3pm!) who need lessons please pass along my contact info.

The 2021-2022 School Year Schedule starts TODAY!!! I have already had two students move to online lessons because they are positive for Covid, so please be mindful of your health before coming to lessons. I want very much to see you all in person, but if you are feeling unwell or believe that you have been exposed to Covid please contact me about moving your lessons online. As long as the weather cooperates we will do front yard lessons as often as possible this fall, so please dress appropriately!
