Every Single Year!! August hits hard, I hate to say goodbye to my kids that are leaving for kindergarten, I know they are ready and I’m excited for them but it breaks my heart!! I also love welcoming in my new group of littles, the cycle starts over again

To my families that have been able to participate in our monthly parent child activity, I want to thank you and welcome you into my home. Covid changed a lot of our policies and procedures but I want my families to know that you are an important part of our environment, you are doing an amazing job raising your kids in a challenging world and I support you and appreciate you!!

Looking to hire a part time afternoon helper, if any of you know someone you could recommend please pass on my contact info. I am posting the job opportunity in multiple sites and I’m not getting very many responses. I’m worried that if I can’t replace Maddy before she starts school at the end of August I may have to reduce my capacity by half so I can work on my own without a helper.

We have been reading this one during circle time, today the kids will bring home stick puppets from the story, it would be fun to watch the read along together and retell the story with the puppets

This is a good place to look at what milestones your child can achieve at different ages, and for things that might concern you. If you do have any concerns it’s good to get early intervention

Taking a first step, smiling for the first time, and waving “bye bye” are called developmental milestones. Which ones has your child reached?

We set the butterflies free today, it was amazing for the kids to see them fly around, wings fully expanded with all the beautiful colors showing. Last year I had to set the butterflies free without the kids because we were shut down, I’m so grateful to be able to share this with my kids this time

We have butterflies 🦋 there are 5 of them and one more chrysalis left, the kids love them!!
