Who will steward Colorado’s farms and ranches in the future?
Access to affordable, secure agricultural land remains one of the biggest challenges for beginning farmers and ranchers. Meanwhile, nearly 40% of agricultural producers nationwide are age 65 or older, creating an urgent need for successful land transitions in the years ahead.
Colorado Land Link helps connect landholders and land seekers to support the next generation of agriculture and keep working lands in working hands.
Whether you’re searching for agricultural land or looking to transition your property to the next generation, you can join the statewide database today to post or find opportunities.

Colorado Land Link is helping to secure the future of agriculture in our state. 🌾
As Colorado’s first and only land link program, we connect beginning and next-generation farmers and ranchers with agricultural land and critical resources to help them succeed.
We also work with agricultural landowners and transitioning producers who want to sell or lease their land while keeping it in active agricultural production.
Our Colorado Land Link database brings land seekers and landowners together while providing facilitation, educational resources, and personalized guidance to support successful long-term matches.
Whether you’re searching for land, planning a transition, or committed to preserving Colorado agriculture, Colorado Land Link is here to help.
