Proud of our FFA members for their excellent performance at the UMO Invitational Livestock Contest today at the Wayne County Fairgrounds! We appreciate UMO hosting and Prestage Farms for sponsoring!

Team members included Kaden Holden, Justin Hall, Dylan Bushong, and Billy Lynch! Justin was the team’s Highest Scoring Individual!

Today, our Vet Science team traveled to Lee County High School to compete in the NC FFA Vet Science CDE! The team placed 1st in the Sampson Federation, 2nd in the Southeast Region, and 20th in the State!

Team members included Kenley Cannady, Dalton Jackson, Harper Newton, and Lela Pell. Dalton Jackson was the team’s Highest Scoring Individual — placing 43rd out of 178 participants!

The N.C. Farm Bureau Institute for Future Ag. Leaders (IFAL) is a unique week-long leadership development program for rising high school seniors interested in careers in agriculture. Emphasis is placed on career opportunities, emerging technology, citizenship and leadership development.
