Now that they're bigger, our days of tandem wearing are mostly over, but we used to tandem in two larks all of the time when my youngest was a baby. Now I usually only back wear or pop them in and out of ring slings, but it was fun to have my 18mo on my front again for a little bit! Have you ever tandem worn your kids?

My 1.5yo was getting antsy in her high chair today even though she hadn't finished her snack. I was trying to get the kitchen cleaned up, and was nearly done, and found myself feeling annoyed that she was calling for me to pick her up. It's so hard to be needed so much by littles, especially when you are THIS close to finishing a task, but I decided to reframe this moment as something positive instead. She is still so little and she just wants to be held, and I will miss that someday. She hugged me for awhile when I picked her up, and I asked if she wanted to go in a carrier while I finished cleaning. She said yes, picked out this wrap, and I asked if it was okay if I set her down a minute to get the wrap ready. She waited patiently, and was the calmest she's ever been while I took my time wrapping her. Afterwards, we finished cleaning the kitchen, and both of us were much happier 💛
Babywearing gives us so much more than just another transportation or container option. It gives us connection, even to our very mobile toddlers, who still just need mama sometimes. And it can give us that connection without having to choose between finishing tasks and dedicating time to our kids - babywearing very often allows for both to happen.

While we hope to have more babies in the future, something that has been a new and beautiful experience for me is getting to wear my kids into toddlerhood. I didn't know as much about babywearing when my first was littler, and didn't love the carrier I had at the time anyway, so I stopped wearing her as much when I got pregnant with my youngest, when she was a little under a year old. Now however, I actually carry her more often, as she requests to go in these carriers. I am thankful for for providing carriers that truly last through toddlerhood. Wearing happens less often these days, but little legs still get tired and sometimes need to be contained, and wearing provides such good coregulation to help with toddler tantrums.

Next meetup is set, so I am posting this now for anyone interested!
Seriously incredibly thankful for the turnout today. For those of you that showed up, thank you for making this a success. It's so special to watch something I have been working on for so long finally become reality, and like, actually have real people show up.
If you weren't able to make today, I hope to see you at the next one! If you're unable to make it but still want to rent a carrier, feel free to contact me!

Before I learned to braid my stretchy wrap, I often was frustrated with how much space it took up in my diaper bag, or how twisted up it got, or how hard it was to find the middle marker. This hack changed the game for me, I hope it can help you too!
The wrap shown in the video is , and the other two are and

Meh dais/meh tais are such amazing carrier options! It’s similar to woven wrapping, almost easier because you already have a fixed panel, while still getting the comfortability of the customizable straps. It can be harder to find meh dais for sale these days unfortunately unless you're looking secondhand, but (featured in this video) is currently still producing meh dais, and they are really nice.

It’s one of my favorite times of the year, and although my youngest is mostly walking these days, we still reach for carriers pretty often when she needs to be contained or it's too long of a walk for little legs. These are some of my favorite places we've been. Where are some places you've enjoyed wearing your babies lately?

So excited to officially announce the first meetup for the lending library!
This is one of the smaller rooms, so depending on turnout, we might shift spaces or consider making time slots, but I am hoping people end up staggering themselves enough that we can make this work!
We are still working on a couple things behind the scenes, but more information will be on my website soon, and my dms and emails are always open for any questions.
Excited to be able to bring this resource back to the community after so many years without it, can't wait to see you there! In the meanwhile, please check out my other upcoming classes, or if you're looking for more individualized babywearing help, you can book 1:1 consultations with me through email or the link in my bio.
