Shout out to members of the SHS Class of 1986 as they celebrate 40 years since graduating from Salem High. This weekend they will gather at Ricky’s English Pub on Friday night and at the Salem Saxon Club on Saturday evening. We hope the ‘86’ers enjoy reuniting and reminiscing with fellow classmates! We want to extend our best wishes to alumna Aleta Pisoni SHS Class of 2013, as she embarks upon on a new entrepreneurial endeavor ! Kayden’s Comfort Kitchen is now open in the Broadway Plaza and is taking orders for delicious home-cooked meals. We wish her much success as she feeds hungry Quakers and friends in the Salem community. ❤️🖤

We proudly present the newest addition to the SHSAA building and thank the talented Anissa DiLeo for creating this spectacular masterpiece! We also are so grateful to the SHS Class of 1976 donors for their generosity! The names of all donors will be painted beside the mural in September and the new K-8 building will be painted when it opens in 2027. Quaker proud! ❤️🖤

We enjoyed a wonderful SHS Alumni Weekend!
Many alumni and friends stopped into the SHSAA office and several classes had a great time at reunions. Many thanks to the SHS Class of 1976 for the amazing History of Salem Schools mural. (Total completion to be done soon with donor names.) The concert at the park was well attended as attendees rocked out to some great eighties music! LOVE THOSE QUAKERS!❤️🖤

Several classes are enjoying reunions this weekend and we hope they enjoy the planned events at various venues throughout the city. Stop in to SHSAA and visit the alumni association office and enjoy music downtown at the Freed Fest and stop over at the Nature and Nurture’s Maker Market too! Sunday night at Waterworth Memorial Park is the SHS Alumni Night with the New Nation concert beginning at 6:00 pm. Wear your red and black ! GO QUAKERS! ❤️🖤

It’s 4-in-1 day in Salem! nature+nurture maker’s market from 10-3. Salem Farm Market 9-1 on Broadway. Alumni Weekend for Salem High School Alumni (class of 97 here! Go Quakers!) 2nd largest High School alumni association in the country - helping to sponsor the market this year! Know who else was a Salem Alumni? Alan Freed - disc jockey who coined the term Rock ‘n Roll. Freed Fest is all day with music sponsored by Alumni grants inside businesses and restaurants - including Bearcat Acoustic and Payden Bello at the market. Sessions Panel at the high school auditorium at 3:30 with top musicians in the country and industry talking about how to make it in music. Big. And FREE CONCERT with some surprises at Lincoln Plaza at 5:30. I’ll be there. Shop will be open for market until 3, and then I’m going to support and enjoy the Fest with the Fam! Salem is the place to be next Saturday!
