Happy Children’s Mental Health (Acceptance) Action Week!

May 3-9th is a week of raising awareness, educating, and celebrating children’s mental health. In honor of this week, we have two celebrations happening over the next two weekends.

Joy in the Journey: Join us at the Salem’s Riverfront Carousel on May 9th from 10am-5pm, for a day of FREE carousel rides, family-fun activities, and a resource fair for parents and caregivers.

Celebrate the Sunshine: Join us at Skinner Butte Park in Eugene, May 16th 11am-3pm, for a day in the park with family-fun activities and a resource fair for parents and caregivers.

We hope to see you at YMCA's free family event! We will be there with a booth if you'd like to learn about our free early learning programs!

Join us for Healthy Kids Day at the YMCA—a fun, active day for the whole family!

Enjoy games, activities, and community resources designed to keep kids healthy, happy, and moving. Plus, Salem Health will be on-site giving out FREE life jackets to help keep families safe this season.

We’ll also have lunch provided, so come ready to stay, play, and connect!

We’re excited to host Community Action Head Start at the Downtown Transit Center!

Head Start supports early learning and development for children from birth to age five. Stop by to learn about the comprehensive programs they offer!

Cherriots staff will also be on-site to help with all your Umo needs. Any rider who stops by our table and either signs up for Umo or shows us their tap card or Umo app will receive a free power bank — while supplies last!

Early Head Start is coming to Stayton! Families with children from birth to 3 years old will soon have access to free preschool in classroom, care centers and your home!
