Food for thought and opinions on the matter.
This horse was shod with a suspensory shoe. The toe was 1 inch and the branch was narrowed to half an inch at the heel sorry I forgot to take a pic of the shoe. But here are two pics of the horse on hard ground and in soft footing. No matter how wide the toe was it still sunk into the soft footing. How hard is soft footing on the suspensory ligament and sdft?
