McCook Central School District We are a small K-12 School District located in Salem, SD.

McCook Central is made up of Spencer and Salem Students and have a Sports Co-op with Montrose as well which is MCM.

The softball team will be arriving in Salem at 10:00pm.

Join us in welcoming the MCM Softball Team home from the State B Softball Tournament following the championship game tonight.

The fire truck es**rt will begin 4 miles north of Salem on Highway 81 and will travel east at McCormick Motors, north on Main Street, and then to McCook Central school.

Fans are encouraged to follow behind or line the route and help celebrate the team’s outstanding season.

We will share the team’s estimated time of arrival once the bus departs Aberdeen.

Following the es**rt, fans can meet the team in the parking lot south of McCook Central School.

The MCM Softball team is headed to state! The Fighting Cougars earned a spot in the Class B State Tournament after winning their SoDak 16 game last night. The State B Tournament will be held in Aberdeen on June 4-6. MCM will open tournament play against Redfield on Thursday, June 4 at 2:00pm.
