Days receives no dedicated institutional funding. Donate to the Salem State Earth Days Crowdfunding Site open now through April. Check the link in our story for access to the donation site.
We’re developing a schedule with exciting lectures, speaker panels, and other events.

Recycle your clothing, footwear, bedding, and similar items in the white bins behind Charlotte Forten Hall, next to the Peabody Parking Garage, and South Campus. Vikings, thanks to your efforts, we’ve recycled 80,000 pounds of these items since May 2019. A 2022 Massachusetts law prohibits disposal of these items in the trash. Remember to place your items in plastic bags before you add them to the textile recycling bins!

With winter break coming up fast, it is important to green your move out! Unplug appliances such as coffee makers, chargers, microwaves, & any other items that dont need power.
Turn off all lights in your space to save energy! Shut and lock any doors and windows, and pull down your shades. This helps regulate the temperature of the rooms while you’re away. Remove all trash and recycle what you can. Avoid week old smells when you return!

Vikings! Help reduce electricity use over Thanksgiving break at SSU. Turn off light and electronic, unplug appliances, clock radios, coffee pots and chargers, and close windows and blinds. 🍁

Stating this week! University Police is hosting a Hygiene and Food “Stuff a Cruiser” Drive to support students and community members in need. Donate non-perishable food and hygiene items at the events or drop off donations year-round in the University Police lobby

Commuters, did you know? Marsh Dining and North Dining both have OZZI containers for a fresh takeout meal! Resident Students receive a free OZZI container with their meal plan and commuter students can purchase one for $8!

1) Please Check in with your ID Card I You have a Meal Plan.
2) Pick Up a Recycle Container, If you are Taking Out Today. OR....
3) Pick Up An Orange Key, To Use A Recycle Container Later.
