Happy Friday! ☀️ Lunch for our staff and teachers was amazing today! We had pasta, lasagna, salad, garlic bread, and fresh fruit catered by the Marion County Fresh Start Catering Program. Sponsored by Mountain West . thank you so much for your generosity and support!

Yesterday, Salem Evangelical Church stopped by with a snack cart and visited each classroom so teachers and staff could grab a snack. Thank you for your kindness and support! 💛

Late post from Monday 🤍 The Highland Neighborhood Council donated coffee from Starbucks and pastries for our staff! We also had amazing parent volunteers donate items for the coffee bar. Thank you all so much for your generosity and support! ☕️🥐

Get ready to roll, Highland!
Join our Thursday Walk & Roll School Bus and start the day with fresh air, movement, and community fun!
Meet at St. Vincent de Paul and gather between 7:00–7:15 a.m. We’ll head out together, regroup at Maple and Highland at 7:25 a.m., and arrive at Highland Elementary ready to learn and energized for the day.
Families are welcome to join along, or feel free to drop your kids off between 7:00–7:15 a.m. to be part of the fun, safe, and active group. Let’s walk, roll, and show our Highland spirit every Thursday from April through June!

The Highland Neighborhood Council is excited to host **Children’s Day** at Highland Elementary on **April 24th from 5:30–7:30 PM**.

This is a **free event**! Dinner will be provided, along with fun activities for children.

Please mark your calendars for our Spring Movie Night! We will be showing Wall-E and serving popcorn for everyone to enjoy on April 16, 2026.

We will also have Fostering Hope joining us to share information about the Oregon Health Plan (OHP). Families are welcome to stay for movie night and are also invited to attend the OHP information session.

Childcare will be provided for Highland students only for families who would like to attend the OHP session. Please note that childcare is limited to Highland students only.
