Introduction to the Oregon Community Risk Assessment Fire Tools (OrCRAFT)

OrCRAFT evaluates the likelihood and potential impact of fires using historical incident data, demographics, infrastructure, and fire service response considerations. This week is National Public Safety Telecommunications Week, a time to celebrate the unsung heroes behind the scenes: our 911 dispatchers and public safety communicators.

We want to take a moment to thank these dedicated professionals across Oregon who are the calm voices on the other end of the line, helping coordinate responses and get help where it's needed most.

We also want to give a special shout-out to our incredible team in the OSFM Agency Operations Center. During mobilizations, they play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly and supporting fire service partners across the state.

Your commitment, steady presence, and quick thinking make all the difference. Thank you for everything you do to keep Oregon safe.
