It’s that time!

SMS is partnering with Marion Polk Food Share for our annual food drive! This year, we don’t have a barrel since they are all currently being used, which is good, so, for us this means that we’re just collecting in our own containers. Our food drive duration is for the month of November.

We welcome anyone who is able, please bring in your non-perishable food items to add to our collection! It’s so important to teach our kids that they can make a difference and that we can always give love and care to our neighbors 🤍

Exciting news! 🎉

🌱We’re raising funds for a new, natural play space for our students! We have a fun play structure in mind and a messy play area where kids can explore, create and grow!

👩🏼‍🤝‍👩🏽We’d love for local community and businesses to join us in making this happen for our students. Every contribution is helpful to our students having a safe, engaging and enjoyable place to play outside.

☀️Sunshine and Springtime at SMS! We are growing veggies in our classroom and will soon have some fluttery friends to join 🦋 Digging into the growth journey is so much fun and the kids are so excited to be long for the ride! 🌸
