We’re proud to share that one of our 2025 graduates, Paige, was chosen to represent herself and our program at the National Youth Employment Coalition conference in Texas last week.

🎉 Congratulations to alumni Mario (YouthBuild San Joaquin), Jose (YouthBuild Lake County), Paige (YouthBuild North Shore CDC), and Esmeralda (OWTC YouthBuild) for their wonderful panel presentation at this week's conference: “Building Futures Together: YouthBuild’s Approach to Youth-Centered Pre-Apprenticeship and Employer-Aligned Pathways.

The youth panelists described their experiences in their programs and specific ways they were successfully prepared for their diverse careers, including manufacturing coordinator, aquarium lab tech, graphic designer, construction foreman.

Shoutout to YouthBuild Global staff Antonio McKoy and Kate Henneberry for leading this session, which included an introduction to YouthBuild, positive youth development, and our approach to durable workforce pathways.

We were honored to welcome State Representative Manny Cruz, Miguel Cruz, and Jeff Cohen to speak with our group this morning. Their time, insight, and encouragement meant so much to our young adults as they continue to think about their futures and their role in their communities.

2026 YouthBuild State House Day

Nuella Ofurie came to today’s Women’s Group to teach a nutrition and cooking class while sharing local resources and maximizing the food you already have.

Thank you to The Salem Pantry () for donating the food for our young women to create a delicious meal. They seared and baked chicken, roasted potatoes, and stir fried veggies.

Every day, young people in Salem, Lynn, and across the North Shore walk through our doors ready to change their lives — and we walk beside them every step of the way. 💛

Yesterday, we welcomed 11 new members into our program! After 3 weeks of Mental Toughness and the preliminary period, our newest members go their YouthBuild North Shore uniforms. Current members and staff offered words of encouragement as they begin this new journey!

Yesterday, members of the Massachusetts YouthBuild Coalition came together to discuss our 2025–2028 Strategic Plan!

This plan reflects our collective vision for empowering youth through:
