A huge thank you to these dedicated athletes for volunteering their time to help prepare for one of our favorite community events. Their hard work behind the scenes helps make race day a success!

🔴⚫ SALEM FRESHMEN SHINE ON THE NATIONAL STAGE 🔴⚫

Two Salem freshmen wrapped up outstanding seasons by competing against some of the best young athletes in the country at national championship meets this weekend.

Chaya Murray competed at the adidas Track Nationals and placed 6th in the Freshman 200 Meter Dash, running 24.63 against a field of 94 athletes from across the nation.

C**t Stockman represented Salem at the New Balance Nationals at historic Franklin Field in Philadelphia, earning a 7th-place finish in the Freshman Discus with a throw of 153-0 against a field of 41 athletes.

To finish among the nation's best as freshmen is an incredible accomplishment and a testament to the hard work, dedication, and competitive spirit both athletes displayed throughout the season.

As freshmen, Chaya and C**t have already established themselves among the top young athletes in the country, and their futures are incredibly bright.

Congratulations, Chaya and C**t!
