PTO Meeting on Tuesday. Topics will include: 8th grade activities, calendar fundraiser wrap up, penny war wrap up, etc.

The Penny War is over! Thank you to all who contributed. We raised a grand total of $681.97 that will go to the winning grade for their 8th grade festivities. On to the results. The 8th grade ended in 3rd place with 13,389 points. They will not leave empty handed though due to a generous $50 donation specifically for their account. 6th grade enjoyed 2 weeks at the top of the leader board, but ended the war in 2nd place with 15,119 points. Which means the winning grade is 7th grade!!!! They really turned on the heat this week and rocketed into first with a grand total of 16,931! Way to go! Collins Middle School

The competition is heating up as we head into the FINAL WEEK of Penny Wars! After an incredible push this week, the 8th grade has stormed up the leaderboard, officially passing the 7th grade and closing in fast on the 6th grade’s top spot!

Right now, the race for first place is tighter than ever — and every penny counts! So far, students have helped raise an amazing $278.58, which will go directly toward the winning grade’s end-of-8th-grade celebrations.

Will 6th grade hold onto the crown?
Can 8th grade complete the comeback?
Or will 7th grade battle their way back into the fight?

Keep bringing in that spare change and let the Penny War showdown continue!

Week 1 of the Penny War is in the books! This week we have raised a total of $113.13. 6th grade is off to a strong start. There are 2 weeks to go, so it's still any grade's money to win! We will be there before school Monday to Friday, and at dismissal on Friday. Collins Middle School

We are off to a great start! Week 1 is neck and neck. The collection buckets will be out Thursday and Friday from 8-8:30 and Friday at dismissal.

To make this even a success, we are asking our community help with providing various food items for our feast. Grocery items can be delivered to the front office no later than Monday, November 17, 2025. All drinks and desserts can be delivered on the day of the event.

For those who are able to make a monetary contribution, we are also accepting gift cards for local supermarkets so that ingredients can be purchased as well. Feel free to reach out to Meredith White @ [email protected] with any questions.
