Our 2nd grade students enjoyed hands-on learning in the forest at Howard Creek near Silverton! They explored forest layers, studied a variety of mushrooms and built small streams to learn about water features. Along the way, they observed fascinating fungi, clusters of ladybugs, and showed great care for the environment and one another. A beautiful day of curiosity, teamwork and outdoor discovery!
