As much as I have fallen in love with choreographing, improv still holds such a special place for me. I get to be fully present and release something specific in that moment. I had originally written the spoken word with my husband and choreographed to it. Afterwards, I realized it needed a touch of improv to bring the concept home; so I tacked that on to the beginning.

It was such a pleasure to open the show at Lila Dance Festival last week. Thank you to everyone who came out! And thank you to all my dancers!! 👏🏻 (I apologize, I wish I had better footage of us 😅)

I am looking forward to upcoming performance opportunities and I will be starting new choreography this Fall, so if you’re a freelance dancer, reach out!

We had such a great turnout and lovely evening of dance last night at Windhover Performing Arts hosted by Saving Grace Dance Ensemble
Every seat was filled and you could feel the support and love of dance through the audience.

We performed an original work “Shaping Culture.” Special thank you to the dancers who spent the time to learn and perform this piece.
👉🏻If you weren’t able to make it last night, I’m excited to announce that we will be performing it again at Lila dance festival on August 29th!

Its performance day! If you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, there’s still time. The stage is tented so the show will go on, rain or shine. There’s so many beautiful companies performing today, we hope you can come out and support the arts!

A little behind the scenes of my new piece in progress! I’m so thankful to these dancers for being a part of it and for my husband who helped create the music and film these moments. I’ll be sharing performance dates soon and more about what this choreography represents.

I have two pieces of choreography that I am hoping to present at a couple dance festivals this Summer! If you are an experienced contemporary or ballet dancer, please dm me!

We will have a few rehearsals this winter to learn the choreography and submit it to the festivals. The performances will be in July and August.

Missing this today. I miss preparing for a Christmas production and being able to jump like this. Jumping has always been one of my favorite things to do as a dancer. This recovery process feels like forever but I know I’ll be back to it before I know it. For now I’m just reminiscing. 🤍
