🐉✨ Happy Lunar New Year from Creative Discoveries Preschool✨🏮

Yesterday our students had so much fun celebrating Lunar New Year together! They created beautiful dancing dragon and lantern crafts, practiced eating rice with chopsticks, and even tasted candied coconut and rice crackers.

One of our sweet students, who is Vietnamese, proudly stepped into the role of teacher and showed her classmates how to use chopsticks for their rice. Watching her share her culture with such confidence, and seeing her friends eagerly learn, was such a special moment for all of us. ❤️

At Creative Discoveries Preschool, we love being able to create lesson plans that are customized to the unique children in our classroom. Celebrating the cultures, traditions, and talents of our students is just one more reason families choose Salem’s only Co-Op preschool.

💌 Valentine’s fun at Creative Discoveries Preschool! 💌

Last week our little learners spent the day spreading kindness and friendship. They made sweet handmade cards for each other, passed out valentines to their friends, and shared snacks around the table together. It was a heart-warming celebration full of smiles, giggles, and lots of love. ❤️

Moments like these are what make our classroom feel like family.

Happy February! Time to start thinking about next year. we are having a special meeting tomorrow at 1pm to discuss what our program will look like for the 2026/2027 school year! the great thing about a co op preschool is people who attend can help shape the program! What days would you like to send your little one to school? How many hours a day do you want them to attend? Do you like the idea of a mixed age program for 3-5 yr olds? Is toddler time important to you? Do you want a half day program that is 3 hours or 4 hours? All of these decisions are made by the families who attend and together we can make a truly unique program! Come join us tomorrow and give feedback.
