Yesterday marked the end of the 2026 softball season, and earlier this week our team held the final practice on the current Salem Academy softball field.

This field has been home to so many memories, victories, friendships, and moments that helped shape Crusader Softball over the years. As Salem Academy prepares for the construction of the new high school, the current field will soon make way for what’s ahead.

But this is not the end—it’s the beginning of a new chapter. This summer, a new softball field will begin taking shape on the northwest side of campus as we continue building for the future of Salem Academy Athletics.

Thank you to every athlete, coach, family member, and supporter who made this field special. The memories made here will always be part of Crusader history. ⚔️💚🖤
