Join us next week on Monday and Wednesday for our Spring term band concerts!

Monday (6/8) will feature the Chemeketa Concert Band for our concert entitled “Out to Sea.”

Wednesday (6/10) will feature the Chemeketa Jazz Ensemble for our concert entitled “The Next Chapter.”

Both concerts will start at 7:30pm and will be held in the Chemeketa Auditorium in Building 6 on the Salem Campus. FREE ADMISSION!

Chemeketa Summer Bands are back!

Chemeketa Community College is offering Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble. Concert Band rehearsals are Monday evenings and Jazz Ensemble rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from June 22nd to August 12th. The concerts are projected to be during the week of August 3rd.

We would like to invite high school graduates (or soon to be) with concert band and jazz band experience, music students home for the summer, or community members who are living in the Salem metro area.

This Wednesday, the Chemeketa Jazz Ensemble is putting on a special concert paying tribute and honoring the legacy of Gordon Goodwin. We are thrilled to welcome jazz bands from Judson Middle School and Sprague High School for this collaboration concert. Chemeketa Jazz Ensemble will also be featuring our very own saxophone instructor, Dr. Seth Wollam. You won’t want to miss this special event!

Chemeketa Chamber Choir (Singers) Auditions

Auditions will be held on December 16 & 18, 2025 from 5:30pm-7:30pm at Chemeketa Community College Salem Campus in Building 5 Room 251.
