Just a few weeks ago, we gathered for our Class of 2026 Commitment Ceremony, celebrating the incredible postsecondary paths our seniors have chosen and the hard work, perseverance, and growth that brought them to this moment.

We are so proud of all they have accomplished and cannot wait to celebrate them once again as they cross the graduation stage tomorrow 💚🐊

We were proud to celebrate Salem Academy’s honorees at the North Shore Chamber of Commerce Honor Scholar Dinner last week!

The North Shore Chamber’s Honor Scholar Program recognizes the academic achievement of the top 3% of graduating seniors from 35 public and private high schools across the region. Now in its 58th year, the event brings together some of the best and brightest students on the North Shore.

Today, Salem Academy students joined community members at Salem City Hall for Salem’s first Haitian Flag Raising in celebration of Haitian Flag Day 🇭🇹

It was great to hear remarks from Mayor Dominick Pangallo, Representative Manny Cruz, law enforcement officers, and community leaders as we celebrated Haitian culture, history, and community.

Gala proceeds directly support the programs that prepare Salem Academy students for college, career, and citizenship, from rigorous academics to athletics and real-world learning experiences.

We’re especially looking forward to recognizing our Service-Learning community partners, Salem Sound Coastwatch and The Clothing Connection, whose work alongside our students reflects the power of learning connected to real-world impact.

The evening will feature exciting auction prizes, music by DJ Marty Miz, student performances, and a vibrant community atmosphere—all in support of our students’ success. We hope to see you there!

In celebration of MA Civics Learning Week, we’re flashing back to last Friday when Salem City Councillors visited Salem Academy to connect with our students!

Councillors met with 7th, 8th and 10th graders to talk about public service, local government, ways young people can get involved in their communities, and their Climate Resilience Civics and Service-Learning projects.

In a serendipitous moment, Councillor Hapworth stopped in on a senior Service-Learning presentation—only to find himself quoted in the students’ project.

Thank you to the councillors who joined us and helped bring civics learning to life for our students! 🌎

The wait is almost over—our Spring Musical, Into the Woods, opens tomorrow, March 12th! Join us at the Albright Center for the Arts – Meche Theater to see our incredibly talented students, in collaboration with North Shore Children’s Theatre, bring this magical story to life.
