We are looking for suggestions for Adult Ed classes. Currently, we would like to concentrate on viable courses that enable students to go into the workforce with skills learned at the Burton Center, similar to our Welding I, II, and III, and Building Maintenance Tech I and II.

● Building Maintenance Tech I ●

Tuesdays and Thursdays starting March 03, 2015 thru (approx.) June 02, 2015
(1 or 2 Saturday day classes will be necessary for some parts of this class)
6:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Tuition: $650.00

This course will teach students basic carpentry, electrical, landscaping (including hardscaping), masonry, painting, and plumbing skills. Students will also learn to utilize professional hand and power tools as applies to building maintenance. Course includes a course certificate and 10 hour OSHA certification. Possible careers: apartment complexes, hospitals, hotels, nursing homes, office buildings, etc. 100 hour course. Bring safety glasses. Must be at least 18 years old.

Please register in advance with payment. You may register in person with cash or check or by mail with registration form and check. Checks are made payable to BCAT. Refunds are automatic when courses are filled or canceled. Refunds will not be given if the office is not notified 48 hours in advance or for participant’s withdrawal after class has begun.
