Students can receive support in every stage of the writing process. From conceptualizing the idea to polishing the final version, the Writing Center advances your skills and enhances your final product.

We know that many of our graduate students and alumni already heard that the joint conference for the New England Psychological Association and the Northeast Conference for Teachers of Psychology will be held at Salem State this year. Still, we want to make sure that everyone knows, because we see connections to education, counseling, social work, behavioral analysis, school adjustment counseling, I/O psychology, occupational therapy, and more. They even have a session on “Creative Strategies for Writing, Reflecting, and Storytelling Assignments”, so there are connections with English too.

This conference presents an easy (and affordable) way for our graduate students and alumni to broaden their knowledge, deepen their understanding, learn about recent research, and connect with like-minded professionals. Thus, we hope you will check the planned sessions (links below) and consider registering – student registration is only $35 for the Saturday session.

On- and off-campus employers plus work-study and internship opportunities will be there.
