Websites are one part programming and nine parts marketing, It's important folks. Can be very cost effective, but you can get ripped off very easily too. Be careful, lots of folks can give you a website, you can even do you own. But, there's a lot more too it than putting ticks in the box.

We hate it when ...

We can't find a phone number. It's ok to have a contact page, but please, please make it easy to find. Have the phone number on every page if you can, in the side bar and the bottom. We can't shop with you if we can't find you. Where are you? and How do we get to you?

We hate it when ...

Flash might looks good when used right in very small amounts, but search engines can not read it, so your site is not going to rise in the ranks of the Goodle gods. When visitors come to your website they are usually looking for something right? They will not spend 10 seconds or longer for your stuff to load. The visitor will leave your website rather than wait.

We don't use it, don't ask. If your Webmaster brings it to you, get another webmaster. Just sayin'

Music starts up straight away, even if it is your band site, let me go to it, I'll listen if I need too. Music on your website can mean the kiss of death, Folks just don't like it. and neither do we.
