ATTENTION PRE-NURSING and NURSING STUDENTS.

We are planning on going to New York City March 27th and 28th of Spring Break. We will be taking a bus from the school early Monday morning and then staying overnight at a hotel in New Jersey and coming home the next day. The cost of the trip will be around $130 dollars. To get into the city from where we are staying we can take a transit for a cost of $8.50 round trip.

There is an interest sheet in front of the nursing offices. We would like people to sign up that are interested. If we don't have enough interest in the next week we won't be able to go. As of now you can bring two guests! If you have any more questions let me know.

SPN is having a pumpkin coloring contest and a pumpkin decorating contest. These contests are separate.You can choose to do either one or both. We are asking for a donation to enter. These donations will go towards our pinning fund,so any donation will be greatly appreciated. There will be a prize for the winner of each contest!! I hope many of you decide to participate! It should be very fun!! These events will take place next week, October 24th-October 28th. You can pick up a coloring page or drop off your pumpkin to one of the SPN members in the lobby (at the front table). We will be there from 10:00am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. All coloring pages and pumpkins must be turned in by 4:30pm on Friday. They will be on display in the lobby. We are excited to see your pumpkins!! :) For more information see the photos above.

Hi everyone! Wanted to let you all know that the Banquet of Lisbon is coming up on Monday, October 24th. The Banquet of Lisbon provides meals for those who can't afford meals in the community. I encourage everyone to volunteer their time to help if possible. You can sign up to prepare the meals, set up for dinner, dish out the meals, or clean-up. Volunteers are always needed. If you cannot volunteer, it would be great if you can donate. They are in need of donations and any little bit helps. If you are interested or want to donate please see Sondra ODonnell at the front desk in the nursing faculty offices. Thanks so much!! :)
