As part of September’s Su***de Prevention Awareness Month, Kelly Martin, Su***de Prevention Coordinator for Marion County, visited Senior Theology on Monday. Kelly spoke with students about Mental Fitness and the importance of looking for “glimmers”—small moments of joy and gratitude in our everyday lives.

Thank you so much to Kelly for sharing her time and for the important work she does to remind our students that they are loved, valued, and never alone. We are grateful for the message of hope and encouragement she shared with our students.

Our Sophomore Class spent a special day of service at The Springs at Lancaster! Students had the opportunity to spend time with residents, hear their stories, and get to know them through personal interviews.

We are so grateful to The Springs at Lancaster for welcoming our students and giving them the opportunity to build meaningful connections with their residents. What a beautiful reminder that service is often as simple—and as powerful—as taking the time to listen and share a conversation. 💙

Blanchet’s cheerleaders hosted a Mini Cheer Camp this past weekend for local elementary students, and we had so much fun! We loved teaching, encouraging, and cheering alongside our future cheerleaders. It was so fun to watch everyone learn new cheers, make new friends, and show off their spirit! Our mini cheerleaders will get to show off their new skills at the Blanchet home football game on October 2 during halftime. We can’t wait to cheer them on!

Garden Club was treated to a special flower bouquet demonstration yesterday with local florist Erin Woods! Students had the opportunity to create their own beautiful bouquets while learning the art of arranging flowers.

Mrs. Woods reminded our students that “flowers bring little blessings to the people we share them with.” We are so grateful to her for taking the time to share her talents and knowledge with our students!

A special thank you also goes to Mr. Palecki for bringing flowers from his own garden and for providing bulbs for our students to plant. Garden Club planted more than 50 bulbs in our garden, which we look forward to seeing bloom this spring! 🌱🌷

We are grateful for the wonderful people in our community who help our students learn, grow, and appreciate the beauty all around us.

A special thank you to Father Jay for joining us at Blanchet on Tuesday and celebrating Mass with our school community! We are so grateful for his time, his faith, and the joy he brings to our students.

Thank you as well to our Spirituality Team, Sophomore Class, tech team, and musicians for all of the time and effort that went into making this beautiful Mass possible.

Father Jay always reminds our students: “God is good, all the time. And all the time, God is good!” What a wonderful reminder for all of us to carry with us throughout our day.

Blanchet's Glamour Gals Club kicked off the school year with our first visit to The Springs at Lancaster Village, where our students spent meaningful time connecting with senior residents.

During yesterday's visit, our Glamour Gals treated residents to relaxing hand massages and manicures, while sharing smiles, conversation, and plenty of special moments. We are grateful for the opportunity to build connections across generations and brighten someone’s day—one manicure at a time!
