Dear Capitol City Sports Family,

After ten years of working with this amazing community, it is with a heavy heart that I share some difficult news: Capitol City Sports has closed its doors.

This decision has not been easy, but due to unexpected economic challenges, I was forced to close the facility. I want to express my deepest gratitude for your support, loyalty, and the many memories we’ve shared working with your kids. This business has been more than just a place to work for me, it’s been a family, and that’s because of you. I wish nothing but the best for you and your kids.

Congrats to our 12-14 Year Old Hitting League Winners the Saxons. Consisting of Andrew Lindsey, Isaac Heiman, Jayden Plata and David Seibert. Our second place team the Frozen Ropes battled back and forth throughout the entire nine inning game. Lincoln Turner, Shane Turner, Hayze Bondaug and Connor Olson came up a little short in the end.

Over the past 6 weeks, our young players have been swinging for the fences, sharpening their skills, and bringing incredible energy to the field. We’re thrilled to announce the winners!

Team Bat Winners: Each one of our Saxons players ordered and will receive their brand new Easton/Rawling bats of their choice. Amazing teamwork and dedication paid off—congrats to each of you!

Gift Certificate Winners: Special shoutout to the players who led in categories like batting average, OPS, and Home Runs. Home run leader was shared by two of our Pioneer players. Josh Mason and Kasey Taber. Both will share in a in the $50 prize. Hayze Bodaug from the frozen Ropes won both the OPS and the batting average awards. You’ve earned gift certificates to celebrate your hard work and achievements!

Thank you to all the players, coaches, and families for making this league a huge success. Also like to give a Huge shoutout to Alex Yeaney for the 2025 Rawling/Easton bats and swag! Keep swinging, and see you next season!

Capitol City Sports celebrated the conclusion of its first-ever hitting league, with standout teams and players delivering remarkable performances in a thrilling season finale for our 10U teams. Capitol City Sports witnessed the leagues goals shining through after 5 weeks. Players were no longer using the Tee for assistance with two strikes. After 6 weeks of intense competition, the 10U Blue Bombers clinched the championship, demonstrating consistency, power, and precision in their hitting game. A game that went back and forth for 8 innings. Fans watched as key moments defined the final matches, with Ryden Boedel, Forest Moore, Zane Ramirez and Zach Howell showcasing impressive talent and strategy to secure the top spot. This victory not only crowned the league’s first champions but set a high standard for future seasons, building excitement and a loyal fan base for Capitol City Sports.

Winners of the league kicked out their brand new Easton Bats. All four players chose the Hype Fire. Individual $50 cash awards were also handed out to Connor House for the highest batting average and Mason Busse for batting average category.
