Located in Salem, WI we breed dairy goats and produce products from their milk. Visit oakalleyfarm.weebly.com for more details! Welcome to Oak Alley Farm!

Located in southeastern Wisconsin, we specialize in breeding registered Sable, Saanen, and Oberhasli dairy goats for exhibition and milk production. Our herd is made up of high quality bloodlines that are proven in the show ring and the milk pail. Our herd is tested regularly for both Johnes and CAE and our kids are raised on a strict CAE prevention program. We are CL free, but vaccinate for CL based upon our own research on the efficacy of the vaccine in preventing a rather prevalent disease on the show circuit. Our animals are given Copper boluses, Bose injections, and are vaccinated for CDT annually. Kids are given an injection of Bovi Sera and Barguard 99 orally at birth to start them out well. Our goats are wormed regularly and fed a high quality diet of custom mixed feed and free choice grass-alfalfa mix hay. They are also given access to free choice minerals and baking soda. Goats are allowed to browse on 4 acres of carefully rotated, wooded areas where they enjoy a natural goat diet of small shrubs and trees. We are proud members of the American Dairy Goat Association, the Wisconsin Dairy Goat Association, and the International Sable Breeders Association. We participate in the DHIA and Linear Appraisal programs through ADGA. We are also active leaders in our local 4-H Goat project. We use our goats to produce cheeses of all kinds, butter, cream, and soaps. We also offer high quality show stock for sale and breeding services as well. Oak Alley Farm also has pedigreed Sable rabbits, poultry, and honey available for sale as well, contact us for availability! Visit our website at oakalleyfarmgoats.com to reserve your goat today!

QUALITY Group of 2026 Sable and Saanen Doe Kids

We had a great doe kid crop this year so we need to move a few pretty girls to a new herd! We were so fortunate to have some great AI and conventionally born doe kids with some pretty neat pedigrees to offer. We haven’t been in the big show rings in a few years but these girls deserve to be in the limelight! They are also from dams who aren’t too shabby in the milkroom either. Everyone is UTD on vaccines and raised on CAE prevention with no issues with coccidia or worms. Their dams tested CAE negative this past spring. They are very healthy and would make great milking yearling or dry yearling show prospects!

Sables:

“Rose” - Purebred, Brown Doe. DOB:4/6/2026 from our finished champion Sazerac. Four Hundred Fifty

“Wednesday”- Purebred, Black Doe DOB: 3/27/2026, her twin was the Junior Champion Dairy goat at our fair this year. Talaches Tablerone AI kid. Four Hundred.

“Kiri”- American, Black Sundgau Patterned Doe DOB: 2/17/2026. This doe and her twin sister were a really exciting LAP AI by “Night Train” this year, we were thrilled with the results and can’t wait to see them freshen! Four Hundred Fifty.

Saanens:

“Valentino”- American, White Doe. DOB: 3/20/2026. She is going to make a nice milker and was our Jr. Champion Saanen at the Kenosha County Fair. Three Hundred.

Thirteen Hundred for the whole group.

This sweet gal is still ISO of a pasture! Yearling milker, freshened this March, kidded easily with no issues. Handmilk/Machine Milks like a dream! ADGA Registered Purebred Sable, CAE Negative. She would make an excellent 4H/FFA show goat as well, she has a lot of maturing to do and will make an excellent all around goat for a family for years to come! PM for more info!!

We hope everyone had a restful holiday filled with family and friends! If you are planning on taking down your real christmas tree in the coming weeks please consider donating it to the goats at Oak Alley Farm! They love the treats in the stick season! ❤️ drop offs can be done on the farm side of the fence that borders 75th Street Inn any time (also an excuse to stop in there for great food and drinks ;) ). Local pick ups possible too as our schedule allows. Thank you!

Season's Greetings and Happy Holidays from Oak Alley Farm! It's a Friday night party tucking the critters in for another wintery weekend of deep freezery 🥶, fresh water on tap, deep bedding, and plenty of hay. Time to lay low and enjoy time with loved ones ❤️. Cookies and culinary creations to come soon courtesy of the boy's inspiration and help this weekend. It's been awhile since I have posted here so I want to share some exciting news in the goat world 🐐. We attended our first lap AI (many thanks to the expertise of Katherine and Cameron/Taylor Ridge Farm) this fall and did our own conventional AI to yield great results to both our Sable and Alpine herds. Our awkward, leggy and still growing Jr. Herdsire Kickapoo Valley Topekaberry also stepped up to show off his excellent genetics in our herd as well, being the dependable cleanup guy ;) Our Savannah/boer crosses are also in the oven for Jan/Feb market kids too! (Check our website in the coming weeks for milker and kid reservations on all breeds). The cows also deserve recognition as worse selfie takers then I am 😆. Miss NY has been giving some "bougie" Jersey milk for some amazing cheeses that are in the works. Ahsoka (illustrated below) aspires to be a hairdresser.... or eat my hair, I'm not sure 😅

If anyone is looking for an ADGA registered Sable starter herd here's your chance! Very nice animals but I have to make cuts to the show herd before breeding season. I prefer to sell them as a group and will give a price break. There is 2 milking yearlings, 1 dry yearling, and 2 March kids in the group. There is also a buck pictured if you are interested. He will be available in October. The dry yearling is currently being exposed to him. These are all nice animals with great pedigrees that would make competitive 4h or open show animals. We test annually for CAE and practice prevention in raising our kids. All animals recieve regular health care and vaccines. The buck is also registered and proven. Hes related to many nice kids this year so he needs to find a new pasture. Huge discount if taken as a group. PM for more info!

Cheese and butter is in the works at the farm ❤️ so thankful for our hard working Miss New York the Jersey cow and her goat friends for delivering high quality milk despite the heat this week. :)
