Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001—the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who stepped forward in the face of unimaginable circumstances.

We remember the ordinary people who never made it home, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the many acts of kindness and courage that brought people together in the days that followed. May we continue to honor their memory by choosing courage, faith, and unity.

It is with heavy hearts that we share that Mrs. Sherrie Bashaw passed away this past Sunday. In her 25+ years at Blanchet, Sherrie left a legacy as a teacher, coach, colleague, and representative of all that Blanchet strives to stand for each day. She will be greatly missed, but her spirit will live on in the memories we have of her and the impact she made on our school community. Please keep the Bashaw family in your prayers. Once we have information about services, we will pass it along.

We are excited to announce the recipient of the 2026 Outstanding Student Award is Miguel Gonzalez! Miguel modeled our Benedictine Values and excelled academically, but it is his professionalism, growth mindset, and kindness demonstrated to his patients, colleagues, and cohort that truly distinguished him. Miguel has been accepted to the orthopedic residency at Twin City Orthopedics. Congrats Miguel!
