Our 1 year olds have been busy learning and growing! They're developing new skills, making new connections, and forming bonds with their teachers and peers. It's wonderful to watch their confidence grow as they play and learn!

Did you hear the teacher talking with the babies? It’s intentional! 👇

While babies can’t carry a conversation with you,
talking with them is very important for their
development! When you talk with them, you can:
💙 Introduce vocabulary, tone, and inflections
💙 Help their brains form new connections
💙 Build trust between you and the infant
💙 Demonstrate social skills (e.g. taking turns in a conversation, listening, speaking)
💙 Help them build their memory
💙 Encourage them to babble, which is foundational for language development
💙 Introduce them to God and help them learn about His love for them
💙 Help them learn about God’s creation

Teachers aren’t chatting with them to pass the time. They’re helping lay foundations for the babies’ development!
