The water at Lake Jocassee is so clear because it's fed by cool, mountain rivers. We think it's one of the neatest features of the lake!

Have you found some little caves along the shoreline because the water is so low?

Be sure to observe and not trample any flora, fauna, or wildlife.

🐝This event happening on Saturday at South Cove County Park with our friends at looks so fun and it's free -->

Come out to the lake to count pollinators and learn about native plants with FOLKS, Oconee County 4-H, and South Cove County Park. Join us at South Cove for a drop-in-style event to help with the Great Southeast Pollinator Census.

This FREE interactive program will include several stations hosted by Oconee County 4-H, South Cove County Park, and FOLKS, plus an opportunity to get hands-on in nature and help us count pollinators at the native plant garden. Afterwards, stick around to enjoy the park and the beautiful views of Lake Keowee.

If you love Lake Jocassee and want to help keep it pristine while having fun with other lake-lovers, our V.I.P. Day is the answer! Come out to Volunteer, Improve, & Protect the lake on Saturday, September 12th from ~9am-Noon at Devils Fork State Park.

We provide the gloves, bags, trash picker uppers, and snacks. Let's clean up our beloved shoreline, day use areas, and campground together. We also clean under the lake with divers so if that's something you can do, let us know.

Sign up for V.I.P. Day here: https://forms.gle/v9Bc2W6pc5be6BRx6
