This is huge!!!

Today the MA Senate adopted an amendment establishing retirement equity for parenting educators!

Time and again we see educators penalized for taking the time they need to care for young children, losing out on valuable retirement benefits when they reduce their hours in order to do so. This amendment will allow those educators to buy back full-time credible service, rather than being forced to work years beyond retirement age.
