Pieces recorded in August: Sonata Op. 2 No. 1 Fm 1st movement Beethoven, Avila Beach and Nostalgia Waltzes by Statius Muller, A Sense of Hope by Jim Brickman and Chris Phillips, Looking Back by Jim Brickman, Malgre Tout by Ponce, Above the Stars by Adam Andrews, Spanish Dance Op. 12 No. 1 by Moszkowski, and Gavotte in Gm by Bach.

Congratulations to all the students who wrote a composition this spring! One wrote a piece commemorating the death of a loved one. Another wrote a love song for her husband. Another wrote background music for a silent film. Two wrote simple 12 bar blues.....and more.

Such a tragic loss for the Smith family! Former student and brother of Chloe, Tristan, gave a beautiful eulogy at the funeral today. The visiting hours yesterday were mobbed with well wishers.
