The Rapid Eye Institute

The passing of Ranae Johnson and Lynell Beckstrom, so close together, has been a profound loss for our family and for this entire community. We are grateful for the outpouring of support we’ve received, and we carry their memory with us as we look ahead.

We want you to hear directly from us: Rapid Eye is not going anywhere. The family is actively involved in the day-to-day work of keeping this community strong, and we are committed to carrying forward everything Ranae and Lynell built.

As part of that work, we are closing out the remainder of this year’s calendar of events. This gives us the space we need to regroup and plan well, rather then rush. We’re already looking ahead to a new calendar of events for 2027, and we’re excited about what that will bring.

Thank you for your patience and for your continued trust in Rapid Eye.

Dear Rapid Eye community,

It is with profound sadness that we share the unexpected passing of Lynell Beckstrom yesterday.

As her family grieves alongside this community, we have been reminded of the extraordinary impact Lynell had on so many lives. She built a community of people who encouraged one another to grow, heal, and live more fully. That legacy will continue. The work she began and the lives she touched will endure far beyond her lifetime.

We know many of you are mourning with us, and we are deeply grateful for the love and support you have shown our family.

For those who have already registered for Souls with Stamina, we want you to know that the event will proceed as planned in honor of Lynell and her vision. At this time, however, we will not be accepting any new registrations.

Thank you for being part of the Rapid Eye family and for helping carry forward the light Lynell brought into the world.
