If you get the new iPhone 11 or the future Samsung galaxy 11 where would you put your old one? 🤷♀️
The trash?
The recycle bin?
A trade in event in a large company?
If you dispose of your iPhone incorrectly it ends up in large landfills. 🗑️
Did you know that currently the newest iPhones (XR & 11) have a diverse collection of toxins in them? The chemicals which get taken apart in landfills enter our air, and become an enemy to all of us. iPhones are a type of electronic which give our generation a new feel, however along with the positive parts of it also come with responsibility.
Next time your old phone becomes useless PLEASE take action and make it continue on a path where no one will get hurt. 🙌🏻

Because of E-waste from, countries like Ghana have to suffer. Check out these pictures from a place called Agbogbloshie, a subsect of the capital of Ghana.
This community has dangerous and often fatal levels of contamination in the soil from tons upon tons of E-waste.
People have to scavenge through miles of E-waste to get enough money for a meal in places like this. What do think of these pictures? 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

Did you know that there’s 5 to 8 pounds of lead in an average computer monitor?
That’s about half the weight of a 21 inch monitor!

There’s a common assumption among people that our future is generally safer than our past. We don’t have to fight off mountain lions or survive in the bitter cold, but there are other dangers that hit closer to home than we think.
One such issue is electronics waste, a term referring to old phones and computers that are sent to landfills or recycled incorrectly. E-waste causes a problem due to the toxins in electronics and health hazards they cause when precautions to keep people safe aren’t taken.
Since a lot of people are ill-equipped to deal with E-waste they’re constantly exposed to toxins, severely increasing the risk of cancer, liver problems, and so much more. The worst part is that most people are unaware of how dangerous these devices can be and are unknowingly putting themselves in danger.
Do you know what e-waste is?
