Congratulations to Joe Cautela III and Dr. Vijay Kanagala for co-presenting with Dr. Seth Fishman (Villanova University) on “Chat GPT and Student Affairs Graduate Preparation Programs: A Conversation” at the NASPA Annual Conference in Seattle, WA! The session was designed to spark conversation about the use of ChatGPT in grad admissions, program curriculum, and career development in HESA/SAHE programs. Participants included current grad students, SAPros from graduate admissions, graduate student services, writing centers, and Business and Liberal Arts colleges.

’s first national conference presentation was made possible with professional development funding support from Salem State’s Department of Residence Life.

Spring 2021 Commencement!

Earlier this year, Salem State HESA faculty, supervisors, mentors, and families and friends of graduates witnessed and celebrated several members of graduate with their M.Ed. degrees. SO MUCH JOY!! Their resilience and commitment to their graduate education in the midst of a global pandemic was commendable.
