Happy Hispanic Heritage Month!!!
Starting today September 15th through October 15th, we observe National Hispanic Heritage Month, to recognize and celebrate manny contributions, diverse cultures and histories of the ancestors of the American Latino Community, that came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.
Today, we want to acknowledge and wish Happy Independence Day to our Families from Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras and Costa Rica.
Did you know that Mexico's Independence Day is actually September 16th, and not 5 de Mayo? 5 de Mayo commemorates Mexico's victory over the Second French Empire at Battle of Puebla. Happy Independence Day to México!
Chile celebrates their Independence Day on September 18th.
Celebrated countries and territories:
North and Central America: Mexico, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama.
South America: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
The Caribbean: Cuba, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic.
Europe: Spain

To celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month, we would like to invite all the school community to our 4th Annual Multicultural Potluck Dinner Event on October 8, from 6-7:30 p.m.
Our goal is for all Bentley Families and Staff to gather together to enjoy delicious food from around the world, and celebrate our school community's rich diversity.
It's a POTLUCK! We invite each family to bring a dish or desert, that represents your family or culture. Please make sure to create a Food Label so we know what wonderful food we are testing, and bring serving utensils.
