Tomorrow is our Annual Powwow.
Come down and join us for a day of song, dance, and being together as a community. Most importantly, come out for our youth. This is what it’s about, giving them a place to gather, have fun, learn, and experience our culture.

We want our young people to see these traditions and to know that they have a place here. Bring your families, support our dancers and singers, vendors, and spend the day with us.

Dino-Mite Day in Pre-K 2!

Last week our Pre-K friends had a wild day at the zoo exploring dinosaurs and their favorite zoo animals! 🦁🐘🦕

🎓✨ TODAY, WE CELEBRATE TWO INCREDIBLE WOMEN! ✨🎓

Please join us in congratulating SALC Behavioral/Disabilities Coordinator Camille Follman and SALC Lead Teacher CeAnna Maybee on earning their Bachelor’s Degrees in Early Childhood Education from Bay Mills Community College! 🎉📚❤️

This accomplishment represents much more than a degree. It represents the many hours of studying after work, the sacrifices made along the way, the perseverance through challenging moments, and most importantly, the deep passion each of you carries for children, families, education, and our community.

Camille and CeAnna, your commitment to early childhood education is truly inspiring. You show up every day with purpose and determination that makes a difference in the lives of the children and families we serve. SALC is better because of you, and our community is stronger because of the work you do.
What makes this accomplishment even more special is knowing that the knowledge you gained through this journey will continue to ripple outward into your classrooms, your teams, our program, and the lives of countless children for years to come. 🌱
