Fall Fun is in FULL SWING at First Baptist Preschool!

Our little pumpkins have been busy learning, exploring, and making sweet memories! From pumpkin investigations and sensory play to festive crafts and painting, our classrooms are bursting with fall excitement!

At FBP, we believe little hands make BIG discoveries! Through play, our Busy Bees are building creativity, fine motor skills, and a love for learning!

Our littlest artists are getting into the fall spirit!

Early Preschool had an apple-filled morning of learning and fun!

Our little learners practiced their fine motor skills and got creative with apple stamping using real apples to make their own artwork! They also worked on color matching and sorting while picking apples from their classroom apple tree.

Then they became little scientists and tested different-sized apples to see if they would sink or float and discovered that both the big and small apples floated! They even sang “Tiny Little Apple Seed” to tie all of their apple learning together.

We love watching our Early Preschool friends learn through hands on play, exploring, creating, and having fun together! 🍎✨

Community Helper Spotlight: Ms. Ro! 🍎🥧✨

Today was extra sweet at FBP! Our very own Kitchen Manager, Ms. Ro, was our Community Helper and gave our kiddos a hands-on lesson in their classroom!

Ms. Ro showed the children how to make delicious homemade apple turnovers, explaining how she prepared the apples with cinnamon and sugar and walking them through each step of the process. Each child got to scoop their own apple filling onto the pastry and help press the edges together to keep all that yummy goodness inside!

The best part? Every child made their very own turnover, labeled especially for them, and they’ll get to enjoy their creation for afternoon snack!

We love opportunities like this that let our children learn by doing, build independence, practice new skills, and see firsthand how our wonderful community helpers care for us each day.

A little peek into our days at First Baptist Preschool 💛🐝✨

No two days look exactly the same around here and we wouldn’t have it any other way! From creating, to playground adventures, classroom fun, and sweet moments with our teachers, there is always something happening.

These are the moments that make our preschool so special: happy faces, growing independence, new friendships, and children simply enjoying being little.

We are so thankful for the joy these kiddos bring into our halls each day!

We had such a fun visit from the Glynn County Police Department and K-9 Unit! 🚓💙

Our little learners loved getting an up-close look at the police vehicles, meeting the officers, and of course, getting to see the K-9 dog! It was such a special opportunity for the children to learn more about our community helpers and the important work they do to keep us safe.

A huge thank you to the officers and K-9 team for taking the time to visit First Baptist Preschool and make the morning so memorable for our children. We are so grateful for all you do for our community! ✨

💚♻️ Our Pre-K friends had a “grouchy” good time learning this week! ♻️💚

Pre-K explored feelings, recycling, community helpers, and Green Day through a fun Oscar the Grouch theme! They enjoyed an “I Love Trash” sensory bin, listened to I Love Trash, and read The ABC’s of Trash.

They also created Oscar the Grouch recycled-art projects while learning about the 3 R’s — Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, composting, and how trash can be reused to create something new. 🗑️🎨

To connect with Community Helpers Week, they learned about waste management workers and how they help keep our community clean. They also celebrated Green Day with a chlorophyll leaf smash and talked about how trees help our community and environment. 🍃🌳

We love seeing our Pre-K students learning through hands-on activities, creativity, and play!

Learning, laughing, creating, and growing together! We are so thankful for the joy each of these little ones brings to our preschool every day. From building and creating to making new friends and enjoying the little moments, there is always something special happening here. 🐝✨

🩺Community Helpers Week: Nurse Visit!🩺

Today we had a special visit from Nurse Robin, Baby Emery’s mom! She taught our students about bandages, gloves, handwashing, and how nurses help keep us healthy.

Some of our friends got to try on a pulse oximeter, and Nurse Robin brought a teddy bear “patient” to show them where nurses listen to the heart and lungs.

She also talked about caring for heart patients in the ICU and reminded everyone that handwashing is one of the best ways to keep germs away.

Most importantly, she helped our little learners understand that doctors and nurses are here to help us and are nothing to be afraid of.

Thank you, Nurse Robin, for such a fun and meaningful visit! 🐝💛✨
