🌳🏃♀️ Here’s to another successful Under the Oaks Race! 🏃♂️🌳
Despite the forecast, God provided a beautiful, rain-free morning for Saturday’s race! 🙌 Even with a few obstacles from last week’s weather, every runner was able to participate, and we couldn’t be more grateful for how everything came together!
A HUGE shout-out to the incredible volunteers who made this event possible! From our amazing SSCS staff to our current and alumni SSCS students and families, we are so thankful for the hands and hearts that served so faithfully. We also appreciate the Glynn Academy students who volunteered, including members of the GA NHS, Glynn Academy Beta Club, and Glynn Academy FBLA. What a blessing to see our community come together!
And now, for a few very special notes of thanks! ❤️
👏 Misty Ricks, our volunteer coordinator extraordinaire, for organizing so many moving pieces with excellence!
👏 Taylor Strehle, for all the behind-the-scenes assistance that helped make race day a success!
🏆 And finally, a MASSIVE shout-out to the real UTO MVP… Ginger Strehle! Her tireless dedication to this event year after year is truly astounding. From Under the Oaks to the countless other ways she serves our school community, Ginger gives so much of herself, and we are beyond grateful for all she does!
Events like this remind us what a blessing it is to be surrounded by such a generous, servant-hearted community. Thank you to every volunteer, runner, and supporter who played a part in making this year’s race a success!
Glory be to God! All praise to Him for another wonderful Under the Oaks Run! 🙏❤️🖤
