It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the loss of Mr. Gene Partin.
Mr. Partin served as the pastor of Maranatha Baptist Church from 1981–1991 and started Maranatha Baptist Academy soon after becoming pastor. He remained a faithful member of Maranatha and served as a Sunday school teacher, faithfully encouraging and investing in the lives of those around him. We are so grateful for the lasting influence he had on so many lives throughout his years of ministry.
We will deeply miss him here on earth, but we are thankful for the assurance that he is now worshiping his Savior, Jesus, in Heaven. His faithfulness, love for the Lord, and encouragement to others have left a lasting legacy that will continue to impact lives for years to come.
Funeral visitation will be held at Maranatha Baptist Church, Sunday, September 13, at 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. His burial will take place on Monday.
