Join us tonight, March 11, 2026, for a fun and delicious Spirit Night at Culver’s! Bring the whole family for dinner, frozen custard, and a big dose of school pride.

A portion of this evening’s sales will be donated back to RDS, helping us continue creating joyful learning experiences for our little ones. Every bite you enjoy helps support our little learners — now that’s what we call a win‑win. We can’t wait to see you there!

🌼 Parents on the Playground: A Sweet Start to the Day

What a great week for Parents on the Playground. There’s nothing better than beginning the morning with laughter, sunshine, and a little extra family time. This week's Parents on the Playground was the perfect reminder of how special our school community truly is.

The morning drop‑offs are extra sweet as each class has a day our parents join their kids for some playground fun. From swings and slides to chalk art and big smiles, it was the perfect way to start the day together. 💛

Thank you to all the families who came out and made these mornings feel so warm and connected. We love our community!

📚 Happy World Read Aloud Day! 📚

Today we celebrate one of the simplest and most powerful ways to support your child’s growth: reading aloud together. Whether it’s a favorite bedtime story, a silly rhyme, or a brand‑new book, reading aloud builds connection, sparks imagination, and strengthens early language skills. Our wonderful director, Cyndi, popped into every classroom today to read to all the kids. They loved it!!

Let’s celebrate the joy of reading — today and every day — by sharing stories with our little learners. 💛

🎉 Hip, Hip, Hooray — We’ve Reached 100 Days! 🎉

Today our amazing kiddos celebrated 100 days of learning, laughing, exploring, and growing together. It’s amazing to see how much they’ve accomplished since the first day of school — from making new friends to discovering new skills, every moment has been a building block in their journey.

Thank you to our wonderful families for your support and partnership. Here’s to the next 100 days of curiosity, kindness, and joyful learning!

Please join us for the RDS School Spirit Night at Cali - Northeast Shopping Center on Monday January 26. Make Monday night dinner easy by picking up or dining in at Cali! Don't forget to tell them you are with Riviera Day School.

Please join us tomorrow, Wednesday January 14 from 4:00 - 8:00, at the Culver's located at 9046 4th Street North. You can go through the drive-thru or dine in. All sales will count and a portion of the proceeds will go back to Riviera Day School. Thank you for all of your support! 🍔🍟🥤

We’re happy to be included in celebrating our local Culver’s, home to our monthly Spirit Nights. Culver’s at 9046 4th St N has been recognized as one of the top five restaurants in the Culver’s system and is now competing for the number one spot as the Culver’s National Champion. We wish them the best of luck and hope to see you at our next Spirit Night!

The countdown has begun! Only 10 days left before Christmas. The Christmas season is a magical time in our preschool! Our classrooms are filled with cheerful songs, colorful crafts, and lots of happy little smiles. The children have been enjoying decorating, listening to festive stories, and learning about kindness, sharing, and gratitude. And preparing for our spectacular Christmas show!

This special season gives us a wonderful opportunity to create warm memories, encourage friendship, and celebrate together as a school family. Thank you to our amazing parents and families for your support and for sharing the joy of the season with us.

It's time to deck the halls and the Christmas tree! If you are looking for a beautiful tree and/or wreath, come to Riviera UMC St. Petersburg! The Boy Scouts are selling them here for the first time and there are a lot of great trees to choose from.
