Walk through the campus and you see Charla Gaglio’s impact all over in the incredible student artwork is displayed throughout classrooms, offices and hallways, in addition to in the robust galleries of the Janet Root Theatre.

Mrs. G has been a fixture on the Shorecrest campus for nearly 30 years, and remains in touch with alumni (“my kids”) long after graduation.

“I spend my school breaks having coffee dates with my kids. That’s the thing about Shorecrest – it stops being a job. It’s just your life.”

Our Upper School students posted a 93% pass rate and a 4.1 average score on 2026 AP exams.

They earned a 100% pass rates in 16 courses, from AP Physics C and AP Calculus BC to AP African American Studies, AP Italian, and AP Drawing.

Congratulations to our students, and thank you to the faculty who teach these courses!
