Not all heroes wear capes... some wear white aprons.🤍 Our 52 incredible volunteers were the heartbeat of Florida Bunfest. They greeted you at the welcome table, ran classroom AV, crafted gorgeous raffle baskets, kept the Adoption Nook and Chill Lounge fresh for the buns, brought the energy to the Kid Zone, and filled every gap in between. Florida Bunfest simply would not happen without them.

The people make the magic, and wow, did you all show up! Over 500 bunny-loving friends joined us for Florida Bunfest, making it an unforgettable celebration of education, rescue, and plain 'ol fun. From California to Idaho to New Jersey, bun lovers traveled from all over, and we are beyond grateful. Thank you for coming!

Now tell us, who's ready for next year???

Today we're putting the BUN in Florida Bunfest! So many floofy babies rolled into the venue like they were on the red carpet, and we couldn't get enough of them. Bunnies in attendance enjoyed the chill lounge, bunny spa, and glamour shots that honestly belong in a museum.

Beyond the fun, two rabbits in need of medical care were identified and are now receiving critical surgery. One was transported to Animal Hospital of Bonita for dental surgery, and a second is being transported as well for leg surgery. All made possible by Dr. Kitchen, who generously offered her services and consultations at Happy Hour & Bunfest.

The numbers don't lie. Over 500 people joined us. 52 volunteers made it run like clockwork. 5 veterinarians supported our community. 13 experts shared their knowledge. 8 rescue partners brought their mission to life. 22 vendors helped us shop til we dropped. And when it was all over? 3 lucky rabbits found their forever homes, and $7,120 in net proceeds to help even more bunnies.

Are you bringing your bunny to Bunfest this Sunday? Here are a few helpful tips to get ready:

• All rabbits will receive a quick health screening upon arrival.
• While vaccines are not required to enter, we strongly encourage vaccination for RHDV2.
• Bubble/capsule bags and harnesses/leashes are NOT permitted; strollers or carriers are safer and more comfortable for your bunny.
• Bunny services include grooming, glamour shots, and the Chill Lounge. If you choose to participate in any of these activities, a liability waiver will be signed at the time of any service.
• Please note that this event is exclusively for rabbits, so kindly leave other animal companions at home.
